In my film group this week we got things done but we still have a lot to go. In this we week we started filming for our first assignment, a PSA. In my film group its Karina, Natalie and Jose and we named our production, Black Bird Production. We named ourselves this week and made our films better by giving out different ideas and ways to do things. We have somewhat arranged our time so we can do more filming for our films we have to make. Also we have finished our storyboards and screenplay for our first film which is the PSA. We also set our mind in which type of films we are going to make for example a music and a PSA.

What Music Means To Me

Music might not be my passion but I enjoy it very much. Everyone likes listening to music for different motives. The reason why I enjoy music because it's a way I can express myself through the song. The lyrics of a song can be just as how you're feeling and can be very impacting at the moment. Music can be many people's anti-drug, I wouldn't exactly say it's mine but it has a great place in me. Me with Music can make me happy and sad through the right words. Music can do great things, it means a lot to me being able to have great music around. The quote "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain" by Bob Marley says exactly how i feel about music. It's pretty self-explanatory but for example, when you are heart broken you can listen to a related song and it will hit/touch you but you will not feel pain of the music but you'll feel the pain from your heart broken with the lyrics of a song. Ozomatli is a band whom I have been hearing and going to concerts to since I was a little girl, they can make my day better with their different type of music. I believe hearing live music is better than radio because it can get to you even greater and you enjoy it much. All in all, music is like a companion to me it will be there no matter what, in the good and bad times.

Problems & Struggles

High school students face many problems throughout attending school. The struggles students face is overcoming peer pressure. I think students having trouble at home or at school is because of the people they hang out with. For example, a friend of mine was hanging with the wrong people at this school causing to do rebellious things like ditching school, getting home late though they know where she's at and simply disrespecting others to feel "cool" but I made sense to her that it was ridiculously stupid to be doing that. Therefore, now she has different friends and is doing much better in school and also at her home. Another problem or struggle students have to face now a days is wanting to feel accepted. Everyone is different but many tend to act the same because some are themselves which are to looked weird or in some case accepted but the problem is students judging others by them way of being.

The Most Interesting Person

The most interesting person I know is my boyfriend. He might not be the best interesting person but for me he is. He can talk and talk and he will always enjoy and laugh at things he says. At times I might get annoyed but his enthusiasm makes everything much better. When he speaks he always has some humor in it and is very detailed on what he's saying. I believe he is the most interesting person I know because the way he gets into things he says or simply things he does. He usually brings a positive attitude towards his surrounding. For example, after my grandma grandma passed to way he was the one to make my home not so sad and was able to make us laugh and also be thankful for the great memories we had with my grandma. I'm not saying he is perfect because he does get annoying and frustrating from so much talking but I believe he is a  great guy with great potential to his future. The way he's always positive and the way he thinks, I find it very interesting through all his stories he has and all the good and bad experience he has had in his life and the way he talks about his experience.
